A new Human MRI Research Center will be opening this coming fall (2022) at the main Technion campus (Neve-Shaanan).
The center will offer a unique research-dedicated 3T Siemens Prisma MRI system with novel capabilities, providing high-speed structural and functional imaging.
The system is capable of EPI, CINE, MR angiography, diffusion, perfusion, and spectroscopy studies. Moreover, it permits simultaneous EEG, and offers accessibility to peripheral equipment including a mock-scanner, eye-tracking cameras, EEG, and Kinarm robotic system for motion analysis.
The center will be dedicated for research and will promote multi-disciplinary collaborations to be at the forefront of research and technology, and to address unmet clinical needs.
